DStash Foundation is the non-profit behind DiapStash. It gives the project its legal framework (publishing on the stores, contracts) and manages its funding.
DStash Foundation is registered as an "association loi 1901" in France.
DiapStash isn't built to make money. It exists to give ABDLs and incontinent people a great diaper tracking app. Publishing it required a legal structure.
A non-profit is the right fit: every donation goes to the project, never to profit. We only aim to cover running costs.
DiapStash runs only on your donations. Thank you! 💜
I develop DiapStash mostly on my own, in my free time: evenings and weekends, roughly 20 to 40 hours a week.
On top of the development, I handle catalog requests, user support and all the admin of DStash Foundation.
The one exception is translation: thanks to the community, DiapStash is available in about 15 languages!
No ads. If it comes to it, we'd rather shut the app down than add intrusive ads that hurt your privacy.
Your personal data is our priority. Read our privacy page
DiapStash is free and has no ads. Without your donations, we'd have to shut down the servers, and with them:
We'd also lose the legal structure that lets us publish on the app stores: no more fixes or updates.
Everyone aged 18+ can donate, from anywhere in the world, and only if you can afford it.
DStash Foundation's minimum annual budget is of 2160€.
This budget covers only those expenses necessary for the running of the non-profit organization.
Many expenses are necessary for the smooth operation of the organization (banking, phone number, legal address, etc.). We are working to reduce and optimize these costs as much as possible so that the majority of donations directly fund the elements related to the services provided by DiapStash (servers, domains, etc.).
Eventually, we'd like to be able to finance the use of external services, such as apis to remove the background from diaper images (€40/month).
What if we exceed the budget?
Our first priority is to fund the following year's budget, so the project is safe for the long term. Beyond that, extra donations could let us print flyers for events, or hire graphic designers to create new visuals for DiapStash.
This is where the day-to-day discussion about development happens.
We regularly share progress there and ask users for their opinion, so you can help shape what comes next.
